You should actually talk to your doctor with regards to that, but i believe effexor could just be of assist whether or not you look into it. I personally take two medications:
For depression, i take wellbutrin, and for panic attacks/anxiety, i take lexapro. I don’t have bipolar, but i had a friend who suffered from it. Good luck.

    Not sure, but most bipolar patients are on a cocktail anyway, so just add an anxiolytic to your mood stabilisers…

    Some of the medications for bipolar disorder are helpful for panic attacks. You just have to find the ones that work for you. Focus more on how the medications work rather than the number you are taking.
